I have everything I need

We are teaching our children how important it is to be satisfied and grateful for what they have. We are teaching them a new mantra and repeat it often in our house. When they say it, we then reinforce how good it is to say. Instead of focusing on what they don’t have, we focus on what we do have by saying, “I have everything I need.”
We were staying in a hotel room and the boys were saying, “I have everything I need.”
Just when you think they are not listening . . . they are!
